She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Flock of Eugene and left here with her parents last sum mer to make her homo ln the valley city. Fish Spread For several months tho Catho lic Daughters of America have been serving a fish spread each Friday at the Commando center, a service which is much appre ciated by the service men. The committee in charge of this work in August is composed of Nora Manning, Caroline Joans, Mary McGoran, F 1 o r o n c e Pickett, Kathleen Maguire, and the chair man, Ellen Ely. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Holmes : of Klamath Falls. Miss Stevens is residing at Fort Lewis where her father is serving as the post chaplain. Private Holmes, a member of the marine detachment of. the V-12 training program, is sta tioned at the University of Washington in Seattle. They met while they were both at tending Oregon State college where Private Holmes was a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. He graduated from Klamath Union high school in Klamath Falls and he is well-known here.
