By Harold Gray WHEATMOVES PORTLAND, July 25 (P) Ir regularity, witli snsgini! tenden cies, marked the cash wheat sit uation in Portland for the week just ended, the war food admin istration, reported today. Bid prices at the end of the week mostly were unchanged, but some lower quotations were noted for protecting qualities of hard whites. This reflected lack of any important inquiry. Receipts at Portland for the week were 106 cars, at other Columbia river and Puget Sound terminals, 238. The general Pacific northwest picture was dull, reflecting slow demand at terminals and light offerings from growers at coun try points. Weather was reported to be generally Javorable for winter wheat harvest in earlier areas and good progress was reported for the spring crop. Some new crop wheat has arrived in Port land and Seattle, although move ment is not yet general. Yields are reported to be about in line with earlier trade ex pectations. Country storage fa cilities are reported to be better able to handle the new crop then they were a year ago. Lake County -Tops E Bond Quotas LAKEVIEW Thursday the total E bond sales for Lake county was $209,718.75, a figure which represents $3718.75 over the county quota of $206,000. The grand total of sales of all issues for the county is $707,-373.25.
