The league wound up its' reg ular business yesterday and will turn almost immediately to the Shaughnessy playoffs for the president's cup and $10,000 in bonus money, of which $3000 goes to the winner. The 29-year-old working man won his most Important links crown here yesterday when he swamped Bobby Rosburg, 18- year-old University of San Fran cisco student, 8 and 6, in the scheduled 36-hole finals. The new champion succeeds Johnny Dawson of Los Angeles who was eliminated in the first round. He contributed one of the big upsets by eliminating Na tional Amateur Champion Lieut. Marvin "Bud" Ward.
