ATTRACTIVE AND INEXPENSIVE Shi- EVERYONE likes the Ion, columned Iront porch of the Southern Colonial type home, which In familiarly re ferred to an "like Mount Ver non." Many people who would build a houte of this type hesi tate because of the feeling that each a home ia excessively costly. This need not be true. This house is a six-room home ' of average size, so designed that the columns and the front porch look well, despite the fact that the house is less than 40 feet Ion. Because the roof of the main house covers the porch, because the house is built of wood, be cause the garage is in the base ment, and because the house is perfect rectangle its construc tion cost is quite reasonable. Very beautifully finished, this house should not exceed $10,000.
