British Embassy Under Watch of Increased Guard ROME, Dec. 20. (UP) Extra ordinary precautions were taken to guard the British embassy to night. Besides the usual police 'patrol around the embassy, a company of soldiers mounted guard In a nearby street. Soveral other companies of soldiers were ordered near, the Piazza Dl . Spagna, where the British consulate is situated. Some reliable quarters believed the additional guards were or dered to frustrate any possible demonstrations against the ab rupt demise ot the Anglo-French proposal for peace between Italy and Ethiopia.
