self out there in the lake," Carter

we saw of him. We could not tell
whether or not he was shooting
because of the din from other
hunters.

get out of the marsh yesterday. It
took me two hours to drag myself
200 yards, but I only sank up to
my middle, so I doubt whether he
sank over his head."

developing the abundant natural
