Program Given
Legion Post Announces
Plans For Big
Celebration
Final plans were perfected last
night at tho regular meeting of
Klamath Falls post No. 8, American
Legion, for the Armistice day ac
tivities. The Legion has secured tho Alta
mont and Scandinavian Halls for
their dances and the proceeds will
be turned over to tho building fund.
George Griffith, past stato com
mander, and Deputy Stato Treasurer
under Thomas B. Kay, will lay
tho corner stono of the now legion
building at 1:45 p. m. Armistice
day. Mr. Griffith will arrlvo from
his home lu Salem next Wednesday
morning.
Marry Poole will show in the
Pino Tree theatre a special picture
and a portion of, the proceeds will
bo given to the legion building fund.
