Mr. Loreman stated that as a re sult of his research work here with in the past 3 weeks he had found ane section in which there appear ed to be structural, conditions fav orable for oil production. In Montana, Mr. Loreman iwas in strumental in securing funds which assured completion of the discovery vjell ot the Kevin-Sunburst field. His report on the Cat Creek field in Montana, made In 1916 for :)jf r Run. cf Chicago, was follow ed In 1920 by d.illlng of this field a4d its subsequent development as toe first producing field in Montana. Woodson. 64. prominent at torney of Heppner und member of the University ot Oregon board of regents, died at St. Vincent's hos pital at 7:110 last night from in ternal complications which followed a general failure of health during the past year.
