For this feat he was awarded a silver loving cup, donated by Young's I Hardware store for this purpose, on which will be engraved his name, weight of the deer and when and where killed. Buckshot's animal weighed ap proximately 207 pounds and had five points on one horn and four on the other. It was killed Friday, Sept. 4. on Parker mountain in the Green Spring country near the j boundary of Klamath and Jackson comities. f)n ibis bunt be was accompanied , by bis wife and uncle, E. I).
