Anderson of the Copco, happened yesterday after noon while he was working about ten miles out of the city on fiprlng creek. Anderson was strapped to a pole, working on what was sup posedly a dead line wire, when by some unknown cause the wire sud denly surged, burning both hands and rendering him unconscious. He was taken from the pole by fellow workers and rushed to the city at a record speed, where his severe burns were treated. The right hand and index finger are badly burned, the paim burn being very deep. The two small fingers on the left hand were burned, but not as deep as the right band wounds. Anderson was able to be about the streets today, and while be Is a man of wonderful constitution, is suffering from" the shock. At first It was feared hn might lose the in dex flncor of the right hand, but today the attending physician feels confident It can be saved.
