What might easily have proven a
fatal Injury to W. R. Anderson of
the Copco, happened yesterday after
noon while he was working about
ten miles out of the city on fiprlng

pole, working on what was sup

some unknown cause the wire sud

and rendering him unconscious. He
was taken from the pole by fellow
workers and rushed to the city at
a record speed, where his severe
burns were treated. The right
hand and index finger are badly
burned, the paim burn being very
deep. The two small fingers on the
left hand were burned, but not as
deep as the right band wounds.
Anderson was able to be about
the streets today, and while be Is
a man of wonderful constitution, is
suffering from" the shock. At first
It was feared hn might lose the in

today the attending physician feels
confident It can be saved.
