The Fourth ot July shut down of saw mills this year on the west coast was the briefest in years, accord ing to reports received here today oy the Loyal Legion of Loggers and Lumbermen from various dlsirlcis. The reports Indicated that 90 per cent of the fir saw mlll resumed cutting Monday morning. , The reports show, however, that logging Is comparatively Inactive, and more than SO per cent of the fir camps operating today.
