The grounds of the high school are bolng efficiently cared for and improved thifr summer vacation. Trees were planted in the spring and a lawn put In at the front of the building. Malin lias a remark able schflol and grounds for a town of its size. Owing to the altitude Mrs. Tweed was unable to live In Morrill. Mrs. Orsa Daniels, In company with Mr. und Mrs. Earl Irvlno, aro spending a fiw days at Diamond lake on a fishing trip. , , Merrill people were grieved to hear of the death of Lee Clyburn, son of Mr. and Mrs. S. F. Clyburn of Merrill, who was drowned . In Klamath Klver. Another son was burned to death a year ago fighting forest fires. The sympathy of the community goes to the grief stricken family. fiarl Blodgelt, who Is taking charge of the Blodgott ranch, bus left for California for his family and Is expected soon.
