Mrs. R. H.. Anderson received word that her mother, who suf fered a fractured hip several months ago, was in' Lane hospital, San Francisco, and had -stood the trip very well. A diagnosis showed she was ' also suffering from two cracked ribs. " A message was ' received in Mer rill telling of the death . of Mrs. Ramsby; . Mrs. Ramsby was the mother of Mrs. S. E. Mr. and Mrs. J. A: Murray re turned Thursday from Chlco,- Cul.; where they visited their daughter, Miss Aileen, Their daughter. Miss Eva, did not return but will Spend the summer with her sister. Houston was prominent in student activities during his uni versity career, and was a member of Phi Gamma Delta. He will enter the Insurance business with John H. Houston. RETURNS TO KLAMATH Miss Maybeile Leavltt has return ed from the University of Oregon, where she took her degroe in Journ alism as the clone of the spring term.
