Active measures are. being taken by the city street department, uirinr the direction of Street Commissioner J. E. Praney, to clean all dedicated alleys between Klimalh avenue and Proe street and from Second street to Eleventh street, of refuse and trash pllos. The move was initiated partly because ot the sanitary hasards In curred hr the trash piles and partly because of the necessity ot opening up the alleys to vehlculir traffic, Mr. Franey said today.
