What makes "Human 8tuR" some what different Is the fact that its early scenes are laid In the conven tional Kat and shown the star in an environment foreign to his ac customed stage characterisations. He Is seen as the son cf a wealthy manufacturer who, after trying hi hand at running the business, is forced to admit himself a fajlure. He decides to seek adventure and fortune in the West, where his fath er owns a ranch. Mistakes for a tenderfoot who has come to Interfere with their nefari ous plans, his neighbors conspire, to drive Jim from the ranch, but here he is 'in his element and enjoys the straggle sgalnst nature and the rough men who are opposed to bird Then a girl enters into his life and, the fight becomes more exciting, Situations follow In rapid succession, and the story ends in a typical Carey climax Harry Carey shows a new angle of his skill In the portrayal of the two phases ot Jim Pierce the eastern business man and the western sheep rancher. Hampton, the new genlns of motion picture production, has added another to his long list of technical triumphs. One incident Jn the powerful W. W.
