I Smile, you’re with Safeco. Jerry Pittam Insurance I I We the undersigned, members of the Budget Committee of Mill City, who recently presented a budget for the operation of Mill City for the next fiscal year, wish to inform you that we are not satisfied with the present budget which will be voted upon Tuesday, June 12,1973. It is our contention that the City Council in a special meeting, decided to increase the salaries of City Employees above and beyond that which was approved by the regular budget committee. We of the budget1 committee feel that we gave these city employees ample increases in salary, and feel that taking Revenue Sharing money to give this raise, really nullifies the ac tion of the budget committee. We further feel that using revenue sharing money to raise salaries above what we approved does a disservice to the property owners of the city. What will happen if revenue sharing is not forthcoming next year - then these salaries will have to be paid out of the regular budget, causing in creased taxes. If you feel your faxes are high enough now, and do not like the action taken by the council to override the desires of the Budget Committee, then let us know how you feel. 1 GALLON FREE WITH PURCHASE OF 4 GALLONS OF ANY COLOR.Äßf/ttXa Olympic STAID *»■000 3««-* LIMITED TIME ONLY!
