Dessert Social Honors Mari-Linn Graduates LYONS — Mothers of the eighth grade graduates of Mari-Linn School honored their sons and daughters with a dessert social after the stu dents were presented their di plomas on May 31. Lillian VanAgtmael spoke on the theme "The Pur pose of Education." Lisa Lewis and Robin Groesnicklaus com piled a brief history of the class, eight years at Mari-Linn. Randy Meek read the class prophecy, after asking each graduate what their hopes for the future were.
