2—The Mill City Enterprise, Thursday, Sept. 21, 1967 Jehovah's Witnesses To Hold Circuit The fall circuit assembly of 16 congregations of Jehovah’« Witnesses from the mid-Wil- lamette valley and coastal towns will be held October 13-15 at Albany Union High school, according to John Woodcock, local presiding presiding minister. The three-day seminar, sponsored by the Watchtow er Bible and Tract Society of New York, will open Friday evening at 6:45 and run through Sunday afternoon. Some 1200 delegates are ex pected to attend. Chairman and principal speaker for the convention is A. B. Stutler of the Brooklyn, N. Y. world head quarters of Jehovah’s Wit nesses, who will deliver the featured public address, “Will God Intervene in Men’s Affairs?" on Sunday, October 15, at 3 p. m. The meeting consisted mostly cf passing Activity Sheets and nominations for Vice President of the Student Body. The first dance of the year will De after a game Septem ber 22, put on by the Honor Society. Other dates for af ter game dances are Septem ber 29, October 13, January 20, and the Homecoming Dance October 20. Then af ter a short discussion on who should have the Football and Basketball Program sales it was voted that G. A. A. would have Football and Varsity S Basketball. Considering that the Vice President of the Student Body moved recently the Student Body will elect a new one this fall. The Stud ent council nominated Alan Muise while Dwayne Rosa mond and Linn Stafford were nominated at the General Student Body Assembly on Friday. In the coming weeks to follow there will be Cam paign speeches during the noon hour and the election will be held on September 22. The Freshmen elected class officers last week and they are President Rick Posekany and Vice President Gary Richards. These two were the only cnes elected because of a lack of time.
