The Santiam Valley grange held their social meeting Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Taylor as hosts. A public meeting will be held at Mari-Linn school Wednesday even ing March 13 for the purpose of dis cussing the budget which is prepared for the coming fiscal year. Mrs. Eldon Mulkey, Charlie Mulk ey and Walter Parrish of Silverton were Sunday visitors at tne home of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Huber. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carleton and children from Bridgeport, Wash., spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orville Downing and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John McClurg. They returned Monday to move to The Dalles. The children remained with the Downing until after they get moved. The Three Links club of Faith Re bekah lodge held their meeting at the hall Friday with guests present from the Mill City and Stayton clubs. A no-host pot luck dinner was served at noon, followed by a short business session. Reports were heard from the visiting clubs on their ways and means and the activities of their clubs. Zona Sischo, president, pre sided over the meeting with Norma Pennington acting as secretary due to the absence of Ethel Huffman.
