THE NEVER-ENDING QUEST FOR A BEST Marion Forks SELLER By MRS SCOTT YOUNG Word has been received that Col. Jack Miles who has been on Okinawa since March is now returning to the U. S and will arrive in San Francisco next week where his wife will be to meet him. Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Roma and fam ily of Oregon City visited here Friday and Saturday. They lived here years ago when the road was first made and belonged to the Bureau of Public Roads. He was an engineer on the ' road at that time. Many people are now enjoying their vacations at Marion and Ann lakes. Raleigh Shelton and family of Scio, have been there a week. Walter Ball is now guard at Marion lake for the Forest Service.
