A kitchen shower will be held for the church. Sunday morning there will be a Sunday School service for the small children for Christmas. There will be a special Christmas service Sun day night. T. J. Langton and W. Ivan Embree attended the principals’ meeting in Hood River Monday night. Ted Hauser was in Portland Thursday. Ted had the misfortune to wreck his car in Portland during the sleet storm. Ed Glazier, Harry Carmblett and Gibson Harrison motored to Hood River Sunday night and attended the show. Fred Folsom and Tommy Walch of Bonneville spent the week-end in Portland. Dewey Merrill and son, Dewey Jun ior, of Portland, visited Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Merrill Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Carlisle Har rison and son, Carlisle, were shop ping in Portland Thursday. Little Carlisle enjoyed shaking hands with Santa Claus. Miss Elsie McConn returned to her home in Portland after spending sev eral days at the home of Mrs. H. S. Osborn. Mrs. L. L. Sprague left Sunday for Portland to spend a few days shop ping and visiting friends. Henderson, Mrs. Leola Stepman and son Elmer and Ted Morrow of Portland visited Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Vallen Sunday. Mrs. Henderson is a sister of Mrs. Vallen and Mrs. Stepman is a niece of Mrs. Vallen’s. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hostetter of Bonneville visited Mr. and Mrs. T. H. Peterson Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Langton and sons, Ted and Dicky, spent the week end in Portland. Mrs. Alex Ericson and small daughter spent Saturday in Portland with Mrs. Ericson's sister who has undergone an operation. Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Cams spent Thrrrday in Portland on business. Elton Tiatton was shopping in Portland Saturday. Frank Moran is spending a few days in Spokane visiting relatives FIV E and friends. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Wilkens of Hood River spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Fiance Reuterskiold. Mrs. Frank Moran and small daughter Sharron spent from Tues day until Saturday in Portland. Saturday her health grew worse and Mr. Saun ders drove her to The Dalles where she could receive medical attention.
