A total of 5,710,406 pounds of canned
goods were «hlp|*ed during the flrat
two weeks of October, of which 8,680,-
90» pounds cleared for .Atlantic and
gulf porta and 2,088,504 pounds to for­
eign ports, the United Kingdom re­
ceiving the largest portion, In the
amount of 1,847,638 pounds, Holland,
France, China and Australia receiving
the remaining quantities.
