Rev. F. R. Spaulding, wife and son, of Hood River, wore in Mosier Sunday, Rev. Spaulding filling the pulpit at the Emmanuel church in the place of Rev. Clark. A good sermon was enjoyed by those present. The Christian Endeavor held a social in the basement of the church Friday evening. A good time was reported by those present. Miss Alice Liebtrau, of The Dalles, met with the Girl Reserve corps Sat urday afternoon. This was the first meeting Since the Hummer vacation. Another meeting will be held in two weeks and we hope to have all present. Ferdinand Strausa, with a party of Boy Scouts from Hood River, hiked to Wahtum lake Saturday, returning Sun day. Visitors In Hood River Saturday were Mrs. Nielsen and daughter, Lu- ella, Mr. and Mrs. James Camp aud family, Mr. and Mrs. Alllngton and son, Darrell, and daughter, Barbara.
