It was impossible to conduct any business at the meeting of the Hood Kiver Apple Tair Association Saturday afternoon, because of the fact that an insullicient number of the members were present for a quorum, liecause of a lack of interest in the local apple fair, the old members of the Hoard of Directors expressed a desire to be re lieved from the duties of their ollice by the election of a new directorate. Several of the members of the organi zation present expressed the sentiment that they deemed it advisable to cease the holding of an annual apple fair for the next few years. Still, others thought that Hood Kiver should con tinue this line of publicity as much as possible. At present the Tair association has insullicient funds to proceed with the buildint! proposed and begun at the corner of Cascade avenue and Second street. Many believe that this build ing should be constructed, having basement for exhibit purposes and a large auditorium hall on the tiqi Hour. A GREAT DISCOVERY lAmn ami In- uvfrtlrHlt, irn,' I .
