Those present expressed tbe opinion tbat the best way to do tbe work wag to make a pieoe of permanent road, es fai aa the money would take it, rather than trying to spend tbe money over tbe entire di-tance and simply make temporary repair. A number were in tavor of oiling tbe sand road, while others thought tbat a macadam road should be built, if only for a short distance.
