Sunday morning tbe local, after pulliug out of tbe Wyeth station, struck E. L. Thomas, a local hotel keeper at that place, from tbe ettects of which be died at tbe Cottage Hos pital in this city tbe same day. The train was brought to a standstill and baaked up, when the bruised and un conscious man was taken aboard and brought to Hood River.
