IbeCity of Ilood River does ordain as follows: Section 1 No pet son or person, owning or being in the posfetnion, of auy borse, mare, geldlog, mule, cow or oattle, sheep, hog, goal, chicken, turkey, goose, duck, shall permit or allow tbe same tr iuu at large within tbe corporate limits ot tbe City of Hood River, or shall permit or allow tbe same to be herded, or staked or picketed, upon any street, avenne. alley, road, highway, or public prop erty of said City of Hood River; aud it shall be tbe duty of the Marshal to take up any such animal or fowl found running at large, or staked, oi picketed, ooutiary to tbe provisions of this ordinance, and empound 'be same in some place to be provided by tbe oity, oi by the Marshal.
