So far the map shows a check erboard pattern which would make establishment of a water district difficult. The map shows that a ma jority of the property owners on Frceland Road north of Beall Lane have signed a petition fa voring the water district. Prop erty owners on the road south of Beall Lane apparently do not favor a water district. One property owner on Free land Road said the area does not have any wat -r or sewage problems and the property own ers are not seeking inclusion. Tho Freeiand Road property owners merely signed the peti tion to h.lp people in the West Side area who do have water problems, particularly the West Side School.
