DECEMBER 22, I9B3 Lf Mr. and Mrs. Donald Robert Johnson Pamela Sue Holzhauser JVcd to Donald Johnson CAVE JUNCTION-Miss Pam ela Sue Holzhauser, daughter of Mrs. Jane Ann Holzhauser, became the bride of Donald Rob ert Johnson, Cave Junction, in a ceremony held December 14 at the Cave Junction Community Church. The Rev. Gene Denning officiated at the double ring ceremony held at 8 o'clock in the evening. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson, Crescent City, Calif. Given in marriage by her grandfather, Arthur W. Bolinger, Grants Pass, the bride wore a floor length white satin gown with hoop skirt, three-quarter length sleeves, and fitted bodice. Her veil was held by pearl tiara, and she carried a bouquet of white baby orchids. Her single strand of pearls was a gift from the bridegroom and she carried a blue lace heirloom handker chief belonging to her grand mother. Sislrr Is Attendant Miss Judy Holzhauser was maid of honor (or her sister, and bridesmaids were Miss Linda Verstceg and Miss Linda Wells, niece of the bride. Their head dresses and bouquets were red and while carnations. Charles Johnson, brother of the bridegroom, served as best man, and sealing the guests were Fred Davis and Charles Tucker. Groomsmen were Wayne Holzhauser, brother of the bride, and Patrick Hill, Sel- ma. Ring bearer was Tommy Bolinger, cousin of the bride. Mrs. Byron Dealon played the organ wedding music and Mrs. John Joachim was soloist. Mrs. Holzhauser chose a pink wool dress with black accesso ries for her daughter's wedding. Mrs. Johnson wore a three piece moss green wool suit with matching accessories. Their cor sages were white carnations. Reception Given Following the ceremony a re ception was held. Mrs. Alton Baker, Burbank, Calif., Mrs. Gary Bolinger, Grants Pass, and Mrs. Michael Wells served the cake, coffee and punch. They are all aunts of the bride. Mrs. Larry Preston was in charge of the guest book and Mrs. Dale Brown and Mrs. Ole Nassen were at the gift table. The couple traveled to San Francisco on their wedding trip, the bride wearing a winter white wool dress with pink shoes and matching accessories. They are malting their home on River Street in Cave Junction. Bolh the bride and bridegroom attended Illinois Valley High School and Mr. Johnson is em ployed by Illinois Valley Dairy. Among Ihe out of town guests attending were Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Holzhauser, Harbor, Ore., grandparents of the bride; Mrs. Florence Strong, grandmother of the bridegroom; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Johnson, Crescent City, parents of the bridegroom; Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Mooney, Grants Pass, uncle and aunt of the bridegroom, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bolinger and children, Med ford, uncle, aunt and cousin of the bride. Hornbrook Woman Home From Trip HORNBROOK -Mrs. Robert Thompson returned last week from a visit of a month in Salt Lake City with her son and his family, Mr. and Mrs. James Thompson, and their infant daughter born December 3. Another grandchild was added to the Thompson family recent ly when their other son. M. Sgt and Mrs. Robert Thompson he came parents of a son. The baby was born in the Philip pine Islands where his lather is stationed at Clark Held with the U. S. Air Force.
