SUNDAY, Burm-Todd Ceremony Heldudin Lou The (our grandmothers of Miss Beverly Jean Todd and David R. Burns were present when the couple was married November 2a at 8 o'clock in the evening in First Baptist Church. The Rev. Bernard Andrews officiated, assisted by the Rev. Roy C. Price, Portland, of Chris tian and Missionary Alliance, a brother-in-law of the bride groom. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Angus Todd, 12 Ashland Avenue, and the bride groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale E. Burns, 2241 Dcllwood Avenue. Mrs. Dora B. Brantley and Mrs. W. A. Todd, maternal and paternal grandmothers of the bride, are both of Medford. Mrs. Victor Cramer, the bridegroom's paternal grandmother, is of Ash land, and Mrs. Edward Cham berlain, his maternal grand mother, was there from Eagle Point. , , , Guests also attended from California, Washington and oth er parts of Oregon. Bride Wears Satin Given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride wore a gown of bridal satin designed with self fabric cummerbund and bell skirt. Her small pillbox head piece of tulle and Chantilly lace was trimmed with pearls and held her elbow length veil of Knnlish silk illusion. The bridal bouquet was of white colonial roses ana siepnanoiis. Miu Dnrnthv Hansen. Soa- kane, was honor attendant and bridesmaids were Miss Julianne Ynaklev: and Miss Bonnie Brantley, Santa Rosa, Calif., a cousin of the bride. Mrs. Paul Evors, Central Point, was bridesmatron. The attendants wore gowns of antique gold satin with bell shaped skirts, and long white gloves. Their headpieces held circular veils and they carried gold pompon chrysanthemums. Miss Cynthia Ryerson, Central Point, a cousin of the bride, and Miss Cynthia Spaulding, lighted the candles. Their frocks were of crystaline and they wore wristlet corsages of white car nations. Miss Clara Chapman, San Francisco, was organist and so loists were the Rev. Byron Evans; and tho Rev. Mr. Price, who also sang a duet. Bruce Longstreth, San Fran risen, served as best man, and seating the guests were Michael Ruler. Reddintt: Lynn Sturgill, Grants Pass, a cousin ot the bridegroom, and Paul Evers, Central Point. Rick Chamber lain, Eagle Point, and Gary Si.iilh wore groomsmen. Baskets of bronze chrysanthe mums and candelabra with tap ers decorated the church and pews were marked with ribbon bows and candles. Iterenllon Is Large Some 225 guests attended the ceremony and reception held in the church Fireplace Room, and Riven by the bride's parent. Decorations Included a garden setting with fountain. The bride's table was centered with the wedding cake encircled with ivy, and an arrangement of chrysanthemums decorated the recenlion Inble. Mrs. L. A. Ryerson, Central Point, an aunt of the bride, was in charge of the reception ar rnncomcnts and Mrs. Robert L. Itinntley, another aunt, poured coffee. Mrs. Ellis Chartier serv ed the weddine cake, and Mrs, .larksnn Jones, a cousin of the bride, assisted. Mrs. Agnes Pnthmann assisted with the dec urnling. At the gift table were aunts of the bride. Mrs. Jack Walker, Ashland; Mrs. Harlan Maytield, Grunts Pass and Mrs. Philip Todd, Central Point. The bride groom's sister, Mrs. Price, Port land, registered the guests. For her daughter's wedding Mrs. Todd wore a teal blue sheath dress with moss green accessories. The bridegroom's mother chose a multi-colored silk print dress with brown ac cessories and matching feather ed hat. Both had white carnation corsages. The couple made their wed ding trip to Northern California, returning Decemher 1 to live in Ashland. The bride is a 1960 graduate of Medford High School, and has attended Simpson Bible College, San Francisco, and Westmont College, Santa Barbara. She is a senior at Southern Oregon Col lege majoring in elementary ed ucation and is employed by Medford School District as an associate teacher. The bridegroom, a I960 gradu ate of Shasta Union High School, Redding, has attended Simpson Bible College, San Francisco, and City College of San Fran cisco. Burns (Southern Oregon Color photo) Fur Style Show Planned For Annual Charity Ball A Curtis Stewart fur style show will be only one of the highlights of the Golden Ball Saturday, December 14, at the Rogue Valley Country Club. This year Medford Junior Service League's invitational Christmas charity ball will bene fit the School of Hope for re tarded children. League members will model the furs from Jean Hart's in an informal style show during the cocktail hour from 8 to 9:30 p.m. Later In the evening the ouecn of the ball will be announced. Women attending will be judged for their outstanding coiffures and headdresses. Raoul Maddox's five piece band from Ashland will provide dance music for the guests dur ing the evening. The bride groom's parents are Mrs. George' Rasmussen, 21 Acorn Way, Medford, and Robert C. Maentz, Oakland, taut. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ice green brocaded satin sncain dress with light green acces sories. Her corsage was oi yel low rosebuds. Mrs. Dale P. Newton, Red ding, Calif., a sister of the bride, was tne nonor attendant. Her suit was of light green mo hair and she wore a white car nation corsage. Brother Best Man Peter Rasmussen, a brother of the bridegroom, served as best man. William Charley, a brother of the bride, lighted the candles. Nick, Chris and Terry Ras mussen, brothers, ot the bride groom, and John Swartsfager, a brother of the bride, served as ushers. Maynard Hadley was soloist. Mrs. Genevieve McCorkle was organist and Mrs. Millard played the piano. Over 60 guests attended the ceremony and reception given by the bride's parents. Miss Janet O Sullivan continued serv ing the wedding cake and Miss Lynda Lamb poured punch. Mrs. Kenneth Curtis, an aunt of the bride, had charge of the bride's book. Dodge, 519 King Street, is formerly of Medford, having attended ele mentary and junior high school here. She is a graduate of San Mateo High School. The newlywcds will live in Medford. The bride is a 1958 eraduate of Medford High School and is employed at Swem's Book and Gift Store. The bridegroom, a 1954 eradu ate of Medford High School was graduated in 1962 from Willam ette Law School, Salem. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole S. Larson, Route 1, Box 273, Central Point. The double ring rites were held at 11 o'clock in the morn ing. The bride wore a light blue knit suit. , . Mr. Morkert's parents are Mrs. C. F. Fulks, Thompson Falls, Mont., and T. R. Morkert, Prineville, Ore. The bride is a graduate of Crater High School. Mr. Mor kert served four years with the U. S.
