Large T1i Jackson County Juvenile Court has heard a large num ber of cases so far this month. Juvenile Director Lawrence L. Five other cases were pre sented and dismissed on basis of good adjustment on probation. One 16-year-old runaway boy was released to his parents to return to the Portland area, and one 16-year-old runaway girl is being held for futher investiga tion of the family situation. On Nov. 15, Juvenile Court gowmss, shifts, Judge James M. Main commit ted a 14-year-old boy to Mac Laren School for Boys for being obnoxious in school and violat ing his rules of probation. Two boys, one 14 and one 15, were placed on probation. Four cases were dismissed for good adjust ment on probation. Judge Kelly released a 16-year-old girl to Iowa relatives after he heard the case Nov. 20. He also heard seven cases in volving 11 juveniles Nov. 22. One 15-year-old girl was com mitted to Hillcrest School for Girls for behavior that endan gered her own welfare and the welfare of others. A 14-year-old girl was committed to Villa St. beaufrifufl One custody a 11-year-old case resulted in boy being released to his mother.
