Yuletide Said Ideal Time for Diamond Giving The brightest star on the Christmas tree is a diamond en gagement ring. Most June brides get en gaged at Christmas time. It's such a festive, sentimental sea son, and also the ideal time for giving diamonds. In addition, Christmas brides grow more numerous every year, with the holiday season second only to June as the fa vorite wedding date, so tne Christmas diamond is in high demand. Whether it's a wedding or en gagement ring, it's a once-in-a-lifetime gift that must be se lected with care and with the aid of a fine jeweler, who can give expert advice on the choice ,of the perfect diamond. ' Still Top Choice The diamond solitaire is still the one top choice for an en gagement ring, and it need not be a large stone to have bril liance and beauty. New "dia mond point" white gold settings are almost as brilliant as the stone itself and can enhance the smallest diamond. New and beautiful also are engagement 'and wedding ring combinations, designed to fit together so that the two can give the effect of one striking ring. The combination of white gold and diamonds is always effective and popular, even more so this year in engage ment and wedding rings. Whatever the style, whatever the size, the gift that outshines them all is the Christmas diamond. FOK FISIIEIlMIiN Fishing for ideas about what to give Dad this Christmas?
