OREGON 'fiass V Akn 4 ' -i 17 IfoY ' mmmmmmammmmatmmk ttuum,- vi,, mm- Sorority Chapter; Gives Winter Fantasies Show Autumn bridal styles wore included in the fashion show given recently by Gamma XI Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority In Rogue Valley Country Club, Mrs. Darrel Greb, Central Point, pictured right above, a chapter member, wore a bridal gown of delustered satin trimmed with a garland of Alencon lace across the front of the bell-shaped skirt which was designed with chapel train. Her bouffant veil of silk Illusion was held by a tiny pillbox hat of matching dclnslercd satin and lace trimmed with pearls and sequins. Mrs. Greb's sister, Mrs. Herbert Edwards, Central Point, the chapter's chairman of the show and luncheon, modeled a bridesmaid's gown of gold delustered satin with bell skirt. A bow accented the hack waistline and a headpiece of velvet petals held her matching veil. They carried chrysanthemum bouquets arranged with granes. Apparel for Ihe show was furnished by Bnrelson's Ladies Rcady-to-Wear and the bouquets were designed at Glnn's Flowers. "Winter Fantasies" was the theme of the recent style show and luncheon at the Rogue Val ley Country Club sponsored by Gamma Xi Chapter of Beta Sig ma Phi Sorority, Central Point. Receiving guests were Mrs. Douglas Ness, Mrs. Maurice Harvester and Mrs. Robert Knisht. Mrs. Herbert Edwards, general chairman, was assisted by Mrs. Knight and Mrs. Dalton Straus. Mrs. Reedy Berg was narra tor for the style show and John Lusk played the backround organ music. The Madrigal Singers, under the direction of Lynn Sjolund, Medford High School, sang. A pantomime number was pre sented by Mrs. William Ken nedy and Miss Edie Reinking of the Colleen Hope Dance Stu dio, gave a ballet number. Modeling fashions from Burel son's were Mrs. Todd Rowe, Mrs. Darrel Greb, Mrs. Straus, Mrs. James Anders, Mrs. Jean Skirvin, Mrs. B. M. Thumler Jr., Mrs. Carrol Adams, Mrs. Edwards and Mrs. C. A. Jenks. Teen fashions were modeled by Miss Karen Edwards and Miss Mary Pinkham. Furs from Samuels and wigs from Winnie's Style Salon were an added feature of the annual event this year. Modeling these were Mrs. Donald Hanscom, Mrs. Ned Starnes, Mrs. Herman Gcgncr, Mrs. Donald Lacey and Mrs, John Pinkham. Hairstyles were by Winnie's Country House of Beauty, Big Y Beauty Salon, Mann's Beauty Salon, Hair Fashions and the House of Beauty. r i ... ke ASHLAND Gordon Owen of Salt Lake City will be guest speaker Tuesday evening, No vember 19, for the dinner meet ing of the Siskiyou Knife and Fork club.
