Famed Ballet Dancer May Instruct Here Three soloists will be featured at today's concert of the Paris Chamber Orchestra under the auspices of the Jackson County Civic Music Association. The concert will be at 3 o'clock at Hcdrick Junior High School. The soloists will be Moniquc Krasca Colombicr. violin; Christian Larde, flute, and Michel Renard, cello. The orchestra, under the direction of Paul Kucntz, will open its program with Antoine Dauvergne's "Concert dc Simphpnies In B Minor, Opus 4, Number 3." Other selections included in today's concert will be compositions by Franz Josef Haydn, Giovanni Battista Pcrgolcsl, Luigi Boccherlnl. and Gioacchlno Rossini. The Premier Danseur can be engaged to instruct two, one and one-half hour classes, one in in termediate and one In advanced dancing, and a half-hour varia tion instruction, if the interest is sufficient to finance his trip here, Miss Hope stated. Those who are Interested in enrolling in the special classes must contact the studio by Tues day, November 19 to assure the engagement of Mr. Zoritch, the local dance instructor explained. George Zoritch is described by Saul Goodman, writer for Dance magazine, as "the world's most traveled Premier Danseur Noble." Born In Russia, he moved with his family to Lithuania and on his eleventh birthday was taken by his grandmother to see a per formance of the ballet, "Cop pelia." As a result he became interested in ballet and was en rolled in the Opera Ballet School and before the end of the year was danicng with the Children's Ballet of Kovno. At 13 he went to Paris where he was trained by the famed Mme Olga Preobrajenska and at 17 he joined the dc Basil Ballet Russe as a soloist. After tour ing for five years he entered Broadway musical shows and later on the West Coast ap peared in films. Returning to ballet and Europe he joined the de Cuevas Grand Ballet and toured for several years until in 1957 he returned to this country as premier danseur of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. Jns ex Phoenix Woman Now in Florida PHOENIX - Mrs. Cornelia Barnes, long-time resident of Phoenix, has left Oregon to make her home near a daughter, Mrs. P. M. Sturdevant, Home stead, Fla. She will reside at 15401 S. W. 260th Street, in Homestead. ' Mr-. Barnes and the late Mr. Barnes moved from Bend, Ore., to Phoenix in 1922. She has been active in various groups, includ ing Phoenix Thursday Club and Reames Chapter, Order of the Eastern Satr, of which is a past matron. Mrs. Barnes was accompanied to Florida by a sister, Mrs. Alice Allen, Portland. M r s. Barnes has a son, Dr. Donald Barnes, who is on the faculty of the University of Arizona. Guild Chairman To Be Speaker Mrs. C. R. Adamson. Wes leyan Service Guild spiritual life chairman for the Western Juris diction, will give the program at the Monday, November 18, meeting of the Ruth Esther Unit of the Guild. The meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. at the First Methodist Church. Her program topic is "Introducing Fenelon, Wesley and Underbill." Dr. Flora Ross will hold the worship service and refresh' ment hostesses will be Mrs Mary Note, Mrs. Mamie Bloom' field and Miss Voda Brower.
