The huge rock, apparently loosened by recent rains, left a 50-foot path down the steep hill side. It measured 28 inches long and from two to five feet in thickness. The doorway through which it smashed a hole was only 25 inches wide. Mrs. Otero said it was the third such stone to roll into her house since she and her husband occupied it two years ago.
