Y., have been guests in recent days of Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Pellegrini, Mrs Secrist's foster parents, who live on Dakota street in Medford. Dr. Secrist is a Buffalo physician. Bobby (at left) is seven years old and his brother, Peter, was six on Monday, August 19, the day the family posed. ncxico HI. Toshiko Funabashi has arrived in Medford to live in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Stockton, 2241 Crestbrook road, and attend Medford High school. Toshiko "found" her sponsors by writing to The Medford Mail Tribune; her letter and picture were published in March in several papers in this country resulting in almost 150 offers from American families. Miss Funabashi, 17, is an only child; her father is the president of a Tokyo firm specializing in commercial art and advertising. ; i ' If" JOS A 19-year-old youth from Colombia, South America, has arrived in Jackson county and is a guest in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard J. Boyd, Holt Gulch road, Talent, whom he met while the Oregonians were traveling in his country. Son of a re porter on El Tiempo, Bogala newspaper, Pedro Banderas was publishing a little weekly newspaper when he was a teen-ager but is also interested in agriculture and aviation. Already accepted at Medford High school as a senior, Pedro is seek ing a family which will give him a home during the school term since the Boyds live in an isolated spot, and part-time employment. 0KS IP Christel Nierobisch arrived in Medford earlier this summtr from her home in Barlin end is a guest in the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cornelius, Queen Anne avenue. She has been accepted by Southern Oregon college and will bt gin her classei in September when the fall quarter opens. Tobin arrived back in Medford last week after spending the summer traveling in several European countries, including Russia. The tour, arranged by the University of Bridgeport, was for educators and Mrs. Tobin, on the faculty of South ern Oregon college, will receive advanced academic credit for studies carried on as part of the tour.
