Eisen hower was bound today for an "adventure into nostalgia" along the beaches of Norman dy and in England. Eisenhower thus described his one-week trip to Europe with his wife, Mamie, during a news conference Wednesday aboard the Queen Elisabeth 1 shertly before the liner sailed. Breaking down the differ ent types taking first plane trips this year, the survey shows that 23 per cent will tfe housewives, another 23 per cent will be professional and business people; 20 per cet will be students, 10 per cent will be secretaries and cleri cal employees, and 5 par aaat will be retired people. The remainder will corns from other walks of life, par ticularly farming, Beverett said. Fitst-time flyers will find they must cut down on lug gage to 40 pounds, but they can bring their pets in special airplane kennels. Of these people embarking on air travel, 97 per cent found their first trip satisfac tory or most pleasant and 3 per cent indicated disappoint ment, according to the United survey.
