Be fore you start to play, cut four large footprints out of heavy paper. Mark two with the word LEFT in large let ters and the other two with the word RIGHT. Mark off a starting line and, about 20 or 30 feet from it, mark a goal line. The first person on each team is given a LEFT and RIGHT footprint as he stands at the starting line. When the signal is given, both players start out for the goal line by placing a footprint on the ground, stepping on it, placing the other print down, stepping on that, then picking each one up and moving it ahead for the next step. Each player always must place his right foot on the print marked RIGHT and his left foot on LEFT. After reaching the goal, he turns and goes back to the starting line in the same manner, then hands the prints to the next in line. Any player who fails to step on the footprints must start over.
