Miu Julie Goodrich, a for mer valley resident, became the bride of Patrick A. Keltey, June 22 in 2 o'clock afternoon rites read in St. Peter's Epis copal church, San Pedro, Calif. The bride's parents. Dr. and Mrs. George K. Goodrich, for merly of the Griffin Creek dis trict, now live in Miraleste, Calif. The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Armande T. Keltey, San Pedro. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph O. Stephenson, 2507 Hillcrcst road, Medford, maternal grandparents of the bride, went south for the wedding, and Miss Jocelyn Six, daugh ter of Mr, and Mrs. Jack Six, 2510 Lyman avenue, Medford, was maid of honor for her cousin. The Rev. E. Adis Drake of' ficiated for the ceremony. Wears Satin Dr. Goodrich escorted his daughter to the altar and gave her in marriage. The bride's gown of satin was appliqued with Swiss lace re-em brold ered in pearls and .sequins, and the bouffant skirt was styled with a chapel train. Her veil of French illusion was held by a Victorian cap of Jeweled Swiss lace, and she carried a single large rose. Miss Six wore a fioor length dress of fern green silk or ganza over taffeta. Pale green rose print organza trimmed the waistline and bordered the panel at the back. The bridesmaids were the Misses Bonnie Morrison, Ingle- wood, Calif., Mlchol Colvig, Brentwood, Calif., end Miss Judy Pifer, San Pedro. Their gowns in a light shade of green were Identical to the one worn by Miss Six. All wore horsehair braid hats which matched their gowns, and carried presentation bou quets of Paris roses. Miss Marcie Lynch, Miral este, the flower girl, was gowned in a long full-skirted white organza dress appliqued with white roses. She wore a ringlet of white roses on her hair and carried a basket of white Paris roses. Robert O'Neil, San Pedro, was best man and ushers were Brent Clark, Whittier, a cousin of the bridegroom, Stephen Goodrich, a brother of the bride, and Norman Olson, San Pedro. The altar was decorated with gladioli, carnations and gypsophilia. Academy Graduate The bride is a graduate of Flintridge Sacred Heart acad emy, rasaaena, and attended Harbor college. She has been employed as a dental assist ant. Before her family moved to California she attended Griffin Creek schools. The bridegroom Is a grad uate of San Pedro High school, Harbor college and the Uni versity of Southern California whtre he now is attending the dental school. vs. Newlyweds Make Home In Ashland Ashland-Now making their home in Ashland at 111 Gran ite street after a honeymoon on the Oregon coast are Mr. flnd Mrs. Donald James Ross. Before her June 13 wedding the bride was Jennie Ann McCoy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Darold McCoy, 2978 Bar bara street. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ross, 630 Park street. The afternoon ceremony was performed in the First Presbyterian church by the Rev. B. J. Holland who read the double ring service before an altar setting of white syr inga blossoms. Organist was Mrs. J. W. McCoy who also accompanied the soloist, Miss Eleanor Rob ison, " The bride, given in mar riage by her father, wore a white sheath of satin brocade and a halo veil. She carried a bouquet of pink rosebuds and white carnations. The bridal attendants, Mrs. Lee Scott and Mrs. Nolan Greenwood, wore yellow satin ballerina length frocks and carried yellow rosebud and white carnation bouquets. Lee Scott served as best man and Nolan Greenwood ushered. After the ceremony a re ception was held In the church fireside room where the bride groom's aunt, Mrs. Eleanor Post. San Francisco, served the wedding cake and his grandmother, Mrs. Maud Tar ker, also San Francisco, pre sided at the tea table with the bride's grandmother, Mrs Jennie Edmundson. Assisting with the serving was Mrs. Ol' ive Spencer, aunt of Hie bride Mrs. Ross chose for her traveling attire a yellow and white suit with while accessories. Mr. Rosa is employed by the MD Products of Ashland Both he and his wife are grad uates of Ashland High school. Valley Couple Wed in Nevada Central Point M Mary Ann Mason and Larry M. Kin nell were man led June 21, in Reno, Nev. with Judge Wil liam R. Beemer officiating. Medford. w Newlywed Pair Living Here Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lee Dwight are now at home at 1693 Grand avenue, Medford, after their wedding trip to the mountains above Oregon caves. They were married June 7 by the Rev. Gilbert Skaar at the First Southern Baptist church, Medford. Mrs. Dwight is the former Vivian Barnett Fielder. She is formerly of Playa del Rey, Calif., and O'Brien, Ore., and is a daughter of Mrs. Bertha Barnett, Cave Junction, Ore. Mr. Dwight is employed by the Medford Veneer and Ply wood corporation Old Timers CarClub Will Meet The next meeting of the Old Timers Car club will be held on Tuesday, July 2, at g p.m., at the club house. Mc Glnty Jr., was honored at a bridal shower June 23 at the home of Miss Linda Nash The surprise party, which was a miscellaneous shower, was attended by 20 relatives and friends. Games were played and prizes were won by Miss Lin da Nelson and Miss Sue Baize. Refreshments were served. Miss Chitwood and Mr. Mc- Ginty plan to be married July 6 at the Medford Friends church at 8 p.m. They will when both attend Ore- live In Medford until fall when both will attend Ore gon State university, at Cor vallis. News Is Told In Portland News has been received from Portland of the engage ment and forthcoming wed ding of Miss Carol Ann Hussong. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hussong, former Medford residents, to James ' Matlevlch, Los Angeles, Calif. I The wedding date has been set for July 7 in the Hussong home, Portland. The bride-elect attended ' Medford schools and was an ! active member of the school orchestras, bands, and choral groups. She received her de-1 gree in music from Lewis ami Clark college, Portland, and is a member of Mu Phi Epsi-1 Ion, national honorary music sorority. She served as an officer of the college chapter, i Miss Hussong was honored at a miscellaneous shower June 27 when Mrs. Robert Brewer and daughter, Mis Barbara Brewer, entertained . in their Portland home. I Central Point-The marriage of Nancy Ciydene Briggs and Thomas Robert Razell took place at the Free Methodist church, Medford, at 8 o'clock Friday, June 21. The single ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. Roland J. Stew art. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Clyde W. Briggs, 412 Ash street, Central Point, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. Elton E. Razell, 846 Maple street, Cen tral Point. The bride's dress was of pale blue nylon organdy with a lace jacket. Her flowered headpiece held a shoulder length pale blue nylon net veil, and she carried a bou quet of while rosebuds. Her bridesmaid, Miss Elaine Wright, Central Point, wore a pale green dress with a lace jacket, and a flowered head piece. She carried pink carnations. Best man for the bride groom was Joe McCalvey, Central Point. The bride's mother wore a pale green dress with white accessories and the bride groom's mother wore a beige suit with white accessories. Their corsages were of white carnations. The church was decorated with pink and white roses, Ester Reed daisies, and pink and white bows marked the ends of the pews. Traditional wedding music was furnished by Lana Stilles. About 50 friends and rela tives attended the reception which was held in the church. Miss Carol Oetinger, Medford, cousin of the bride, was in charge of the guest book; Mrs. Lee A. Bean, Medford, sister of the bride, served the wedding cake and Miss Sherry Snooks, Central Point, was in charge of the punch bowl. Mrs. S. H. Oetinger Jr., aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Willard Thompson, Medford, sister of the bride, were in charge of the gift table. After a wedding trip to Chowchilla, Calif., the couple will be at home at 846 Maple street, Central Point. O'Brien Guest O'Brien-Mrs. Don Frazier, Garden Grove, Calif., was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Williams recently. Mrs. Fraz ier is a former teacher and resident of Elk valley.
