De partment enrollments have nearly tripled during the past 10 years and continued gains are seen for the future. About 50 students are now . working for advanced degrees in zoology. Night laboratories nd classes are held every day in zoology because of over crowded conditions. Dr. E. J. Dornfcld, department chair man, said. ' The research program In zoology is also expanding rapidly, he added. The county budget commit tee had referred the question back to the county court for its authorization. . Porter Lombard, station superintendent, said the esti mated cost is $3,500. Tha money will come from tha annual $4,000 agronomy sta tlon operating fund. The greenhouse will ba used for such research in volving plant diseases, pear decline and biological control of insect pests, Lombard noted.
