Summer Clothing Coordinated United Press International Coordinated outfits for mi lady's summer possess chame leon-like qualities and convert from playsuits to at - home dresses as easily as from town dresses to bathing suits. Claire Golden, of Country Calicos, for example, coordinates patch-work calico, sewn in a diamond pattern with calico in a floral print for an outfit that changes from a playsuit to an at-home dress. Bra manufacturers are put ting their shoulders to the stretch strap, reports Women's Wear Dally. But there are problems - excessive shrink age, curling and fear that the elastic eventually will get tired. - Schoolboy breeziness marks summer hair-do's. For a cool effect, bangs grace the fore head and circlettes of hair at the sides brush each cheek while the back flips upward Into a soft swirl. Watch for a new era of ele gance In at-home entertaining for summer. The National Cot ton Council reports the ro mantically feminine look of long cotton dresses and skirts Is "in" for outdoor as well as indoor entertaining. The camel-colored blazer is the new back-to-school entry for Joe College. Predictions are that will be second only to blue. The insides of the raincoat count most for fall-wlth men who want to be fashion bright. Pile linings In solid and split colors are joined by wool plaids. Many of the light weight linings are laminated. An Innovation from France: Fashion's newest pet, the vest. In a red Hclanca version but toned over trim black Helanca boy shorts. Red Is up - and coming In children's shoes for fall. Especially new - and bright -is the red patent. To make an ivory knife handle whiter, rub it with half a lemon dipped in salt.
