Mr Parsons and his bride are pictured here as they arrived from St. Mark's Episcopal church where the ceremony took place Saturday, May 25, at four o'clock in the afternoon. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Victor E. Gardener, Eagle Point; the bride groom is a. son. of Mr. and Mrs. George Howland Parsons, Seattle, Wash.; 'he is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reginald H. Parsons of Medford and Seattle. Georgia Mitchell (at left) has served as president of the Future Homemakers of America chapter and won a number of awards; Linda Nelson, (center) won FHA and Betty Crocker scholarships, and Sue Sneed won FHA scholarship and other awards. Janice Payton (at right) models a pink satin evening gown with tiered skirt, brocade bodice and satin stole which she made in sewing classes at Medford High school. The workshop at Westminster Presbyterian church was followed by a swim party and picnic in the patio of the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Frohnmayer on Spring stre6t. Shown during the party are Juan Canada-Anidon, Spain, who is living with Mr. and Mrs. John Summerfield, Central Point, and attending Crater High school; Nik Yahya, Malaya, who has been living with Dr. and Mrs. Robert Relchers and attending Med ford High school, and Marion Van Der Bijl, Johannesburg, South Africa, who has been attending Del Norte High school In Cres cent City, Calif., and making her home with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Dent In that city. t:JU3 'wmTVi: ' ' F 1 hiz?- 44, L "f 4 . . ... t w - 3 More than 130 southern Oregon residents interested in the American Field service program which arranges exchanges of students, attended a workshop and party held last Sunday in Medford.
