Jack Dalton had bean con tacted Wednesday night when he was informed that ha had a fast gun draw match with Georga Flanagan Jr. of Med ford and ha said at that time that ha would come prepared. Tha card was delayed some 20 minutes while awaiting tha rrlral of tha wrestlers. Then Andre Drapp and Calallna George Drue, who were not scheduled to wrestle each oth er, went into tha ting for a ene-fsll match, with everyone hoping the missing matman would show up before the first match was over. Cepeda Sues Look Magazine San Francisco - IUPD - First baseman Orlando Cepeda of the San Francisco Giants filed $1 million libel suit against Look magazine Thursday, charging he was "defamed." The suit was tiled In su perior court by attorney Marvin Lewis and asks tor $300,000 general damages snd 1500,000 as extempiBry or punitive damages. The article, written by Look Sporta Editor Tim Cohane, said Cepeda was not a team man, Jealous ot Willie Mays, and was on the trading block. "Cepeda is a very sensitive man," said Lewis. "What the article said and what it Im plied Is not the truth." Lewis also said that the article has affected Cepeda's batting. But Cepeda is the leading hitter on the Giants with a .318 average. Although some of the top performances in Thursday's heavy traffic at the Speedway were by drivers who already have put their cars In the starting lineup, several of the drivers still seekine berths had laps in the 149-150 m.p.h bracket.
