Moriarty, Portland. The announcement was made by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert LcQuieu, Malin, Ore., at a dessert in the Lc Quieu home April 13. Miss LcQuieu is a student at Wcstmonl college, Santa Barbara, Calif., and plans to transfer to Portland State col lege for the summer term. A nursery is provided tor .small children Summer Wedding Trip Planned by Newly-weds Happy Camp The Rev. and Mrs. Ben Williams, whose marriage was a recent event in Yreka, are living in that city at 500 West Center street. Both arc affiliated with the music department of the Yreka Southern Baptist church, where they were married. The bride is the former Miss Dcanna Spcnce, daugh ter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Spcnce, Happy Camp, and the bridegroom is a son of Mrs. W. J. Williams, Laurel, Miss and the late Mr. Williams. The couple plans a delayed honeymoon trip during the summer when they will trav el to Mississippi to visit the bridegroom's mother and oth er relatives. The wedding ceremony was read March 23 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon by the Rev. Dulc Buckner. Mrs. Buckner was matron of honor and Ron Wallace, also of Yreka, was best man. The bride's floor length gown was of lace over satin designed with scalloped neck line and long sleeves. Her fingertip veil of tulle was held from a rhinestone trim med liara. She wore a pearl and rhinestone necklace, n gift from the bridegroom, and her bouquet was a white or chid with stcphanotis which she carried on a white Bible. The bride's attendants wore identical dresses of light blue taffeta brocade with matching tulle headpieces. They carried white carnation bouquets. The flower girl was dressed 111 a light blue frock with white headband and she car ried a basket of lily of the valley. Lilies in Church Baskets of Easter lilies dec orated the church. Mrs. Victor Duscnbcrry sang. For her daughter's wedding the bride's mother wore a pink-beige sheath of taffeta brocade with white acccs. sorlcs. The reception, given by the bride's parents was in the Odd Fellows lodge hall in Yreka. The wedding cake had been made and decorated by the bride's mother. Serving the cake were Mrs. Everett Collord and Mrs. Keith Let. Presiding at the punch bowl was Mrs. Nelson Carlson and Mrs. Harvey Wcsby poured the coffee. Others assisting with the serving were Mrs. Robert Ed munds, Mrs. Terry and Mrs. Dusenberry. Pamela Edmunds and Char lotte Terry had charge of the guest book. A bride's doll centered the gift table where the bride was assisted by her attendants. Some 100 guests attended For traveling the bride wore a light green wool suit with white accessories and her corsage was the orchid from her bouquet. Prospect Lady Lions Elect; Party Planned Prospect - Mrs. Sherman Poole was reelected president of the Prospect Lady Lions at the annual meeting of the or ganization held recently in Bcckie s cafe at Union Creek. Religious Play Slated Tonight Rehearsal in Kcrioth," a Heritage Players production will be presented by the First Christian church this evening at 7:30 o'clock in the church sanctuary at 209 South Oak dale avenue. The public is in vited to attend the perform ance which will feature Caro lyn Bartcll and Steven Wil Hams. Miss Bartcll is considered an exceptional actress and many consider her one of the outstanding actresses from the Northwest. Her home is in Tacoma. Wash. Steven Williams, Seattle Wash., is studying broadcast ing at the University of Ore gon and has toured in the past with the Heritage Players. "Rehearsal in Kerioth" written by Ronald Coulter, of Eugene, director of the players, tells the story of a modern young actor and ac tress who are unsympathcti cally rehearsing the roles of Judas Iscariot and Mary of Magdala. During the rehearsal they begin improvising scenes from the passion of Christ and the characterizations take control of them. In their imagination they become the characters. Thus in this strange way Judas is pre sented as a modern man and attempts to justify his be trayal in several different ways. He claims that his sin and Peter's sin is the same, that betrayal and denial are the same. Ronald Coulter. Eugene, who wrote the play, also will act.
