"Rehearsal in Kerioth"
written by Ronald Coulter,
of Eugene, director of the
players, tells the story of a
modern young actor and ac
tress who are unsympathcti
cally rehearsing the roles of
Judas Iscariot and Mary of
Magdala.
During the rehearsal they
begin improvising scenes
from the passion of Christ
and the characterizations take
control of them. In their
imagination they become the
characters. Thus in this
strange way Judas is pre
sented as a modern man and
attempts to justify his be
trayal in several different
ways. He claims that his sin
and Peter's sin is the same,
that betrayal and denial are
the same.

who wrote the play, also will
act. Jeanninc Kay. also Eu
