The Rev Wendell Wasler. assistant pastor of First Christian church, will officiate. Interment will be in Eastwood IOOF cemetery. Mr. Perdue, the son of John Boardman, who survives. Other survivors include two sons, Clyde Perdue. Medford. Carl Perdue, Ashland; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Slack, Ashland: Mrs. Irene Kingery, Talent; one brother, Arvillc Perdue, Redding. Brown reported the high bid totalled S14.260, compared to! the forest service appraised price of S8.916.25. an increase of 60 per cent. Next high bidder in the oral auction for the timber was B&R Logging of Cold Hill. Other bidders were Wayne Ash Logging, and Donal A. Brace. Timber in the unit consisted of 160,000 board feet of Douglas-fir bid at $30 per thousand board feet; 85,000 board feet of pondcrosa pine and western I wane pine oia ai am pvi tnousana ooara ieci, ana -uo,-000 buard feet of white fir and other species bid at S20 per thousand board feet. Second Sale In another sale, R. W. Jacks Logging of Gold Hill was high bidder for 245,000 board feet of timber in the Rockspine Blowdown area, Applegate Ranger district, Rogue River National forest. The high bid totaled $4, 453.40. compared to the forest service appraised price of S3, 163. 15, an increase of 41 per cent. Next high bidder was John son Brothers of Medford. The timber in this unit con sisted of 170,000 board feel of Douglas-fir bid at $17 per thousand board feet; 3o,000 board feet of sugar pine bid at S14.50 per thousand board feet, and 40.000 board feet of white fir and other species bid at S5.75 per thousand board feet. Officers said Julia Mac White. 46. of 851 Palm st was taken into custody Friday af ternoon after she was appre hended leaving the store with several items for which she had not paid. She was lodged in Jackson county jail. A 15-year-old Medford boy was arrested about 3:35 p.m. Saturday for shoplifting. He was released to the custody of his parents on the advice of juvenile authorities after giv ing statements to officers ad mitting attempted theft. Jessie Keller, 77, Rogue River, was reported in tair condition today in Rogue Val ley hospital where she was taken with injuries she suf fered in a two-car accident Monday morning. Medford city police said the injured woman was a passen ger in a vehicle operated by Tiamou Matthew Hatcher, 63, Rogue River. The Hatcher car collided about 11 a.m. at Riv erside ave. and Jackson st. with a car driven by Jack Robert Reneau, 32, El Monte, Calif. Investigating officers cited Reneau for disobeying a traf fic signal. Damage to both vehicles was extensive, offi cers said. In one of two non-injury vehicle accidents in Medford Monday.
