Members present voted to hold clean up day at the church on April 11. This will be an all day affair, and those attending are asked to take a sack lunch. The regular study of the book of Romans was led by the Rev. C. A. Nylund pre ceding the meeting, which was conducted by the prest dent, Mrs. Ernest Adams. For the wedding ceremony and reception that followed In the church social rooms the bride's mother wore a navy blue dress with white accessories and her corsage was of pink carnations. The bridegroom's stepmother, Mrs. J. F. Bloom Sr., Jacksonville, was dressed in navy blue silk with black accessories. The reception was given by Mr. and Mrs. O'dear. The wedding cake was serv ed by Mrs. W. P. Sullivan, Grants Pass. Miss Darlene O'dear had charge of the guest book and Miss Vivian Clark, Grants Pass, served coffee. Mrs. Alfred E. O'dear, Jacksonville, poured punch. For traveling to the Oregon coast the bride wore a navy blue sheath dress with jacket and white accessories. They are living at Wolf Creek, where the bridegroom is employed by the Josephine county roads department. The bride is a Wolf Creek High school graduate. Bloom in recent rites at Med ford First Methodist church, she wore a moonstone lava llere which had been worn by the bridegroom's mother at her wedding as a gift from his father. The heirloom since has been worn by the bride groom s sisters for their mar riage rites. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Volncy Oden Wolf Creek, and the bride groom is a son ot the late Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Bloom Sr., Jacksonville. Dr. George G. Roseberry officiated at the 8 o'clock eve ning rites, March 23. About 40 friends and relatives at tended the double ring cere mony. Soloist was Mrs. D. G. Mac- Dougall and accompanist was Mrs. Leslie Boardman. The bride's father escorted her to the altar and gave her In marriage. Her floorlength gown was designed with a Belgium lace bodice and the skirt was of tiered net over crepe. Miss E d y t h c McCarty, American Baptist missionary now serving in Chiengmai, Thailand, has accepted an in vitation from the Woman's Mission society to sneak at the midweek service at East wood on April 10 at 7:30 p.m. There will be a time of fel lowship after the service when refreshments will be served by Mrs. Carl Jones and Mrs Robert Cook. Parade of Hats Set at Meeting An Easter parade of hats will be held at the Wednes day, April 10 meeting of the Mistletoe club of Royal Neigh bors of America.
