Pear Blossom Song Brought to Life as Festival Approaches "The Pear Blossom Song, written and copyritcd In 1955 by Mrs. Bertha Apple' Sate Guchcs, 1404 Thomas rd., is being brought to life by Mrs. Guchcs and interested friends. Ted Jen nings, Ron Bartlett and Miss Judy Stewart sang as a trio for the presentation. The group also presented it at the White City Domiciliary. Mrs. Guches is the great- granddaughter of Jesse Apple- gate Guches, from whom the Applegate coup try was named. He also surveyed the Oregon Trail" and was called "The Sage of ; Yon callo". .
