MUvtMbLH 25, 1962 Four One-Act Plavs Planned in Eagle Point Eagle Point-Four one act comedy play will be present ed at the Eagle Point Grade achool gymnasium Friday, No vember 30, at 7:30 p.m. The comedy plays are being sponsored by the Girls' Ath letic association with each class presenting its selected play for the benefit of their scholarship fund. This is the second year the girls have presented plays to provide a senior girl with a S100 scholarship. The recipi ent of the scholarship last year was Miss Judy De Haven who is majoring in physical edu cation. "He's Having A Baby" is the Senior class' selection, a farce based on what women would do if men had babies. Included in the cast are Ann Barber as Mrs. Murray; Helen Vickeron as Mrs. Foster; Sue Carroll as Mrs. Graton; Carole Biddle as Mrs. North and Susie Eastin as the nurse. Kathy Robertson is student director; Karen Smith, assist ant director; and Kay Stephen son, property manager. "Have You Had Your Op eration?" is the selection to be presented by the Junior class cast. In the cast are Dianne Stelle as Miss Allen; Chloe Atkinson as Miss Har ris; Ellen Hay as Mrs. Gordon; Loretta Whipple as Flo Mar tin; Marsha Pulley as Mrs. Murphy; Donna Geren as the patient, and Pam Stevens as Dinah. Judy Hill will be stu dent director; Sandi Hawks, property manager, and Pat Beacham, make-up chairman. Sophomor Play "Life O' The Party" re counts the reaction of a 13-year-old boy who is not in vited to a party. The sophomore cast includes Sandi Charters as Wilbur; Mary Alice Pestka as Betty Lou; Virginia Williams as Con nie; Lois Christensen as Mrs. Maxwell; Judy Frost as Mr. Maxwell; and Carol Lane as Bernadine Smith; Margaret Nelms as Mary Brown; Chris Stockton as Judy Martin; Charlene Smith as Jack; Crol Nuber as Bob; Marsha Wallis as Frank; and Sharon Hawks as Cliff, all guests. Charlet Jensen will be stu dent director. "Hillbilly House", the Freshmen production, opens in the Barlow living room with Nan and Brenda very excited over a letter from their broth er, Jeff. Cast includes Tanya Beding field as Nan Barlow; Mary Fry as Brenda Barlow; Patty Bressie as Sissy Barlow; Elena Assali as Arlene; Cheryl Stan- Women's Fellowship Groups Set Meetings Group meetings of the Women's fellowship, First Christian church will be Tues day. November 27. The McCracken group will have a coffee hour at 10 a.m., with Mrs. C. C. Peterson, 807 Beall lane. Gallery Tea to Honor Craftsmen The southern Oregon branch of the Senior Crafts men of Oregon Inc., located in ihe Ashland Art Gallery, 31 Water street, will be open daily, starting Monday, No vember 26, from 1 to 9 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sun day. The announcement was made by the more than 400 Oregon Senior Citizens whose work has been passed on by a Jury of artisans to insure high quality of workmanship and original design. Among these seniors dis playing their work are 15 local craftsmen who have been accepted as members of this non-profit cooperative. The branch in southern Ore gon was started last July with the cosponsorship of the Rogue Valley Council on Ag ing. This is the first branch shop in Oregon outside of the headquarters at 1128 South west Alder street, Portland. Family Members From Hornbrook Attend Rites Hornbrook Several mem bers ot the family from this area attended the wedding in Klamath Falls on November IS of Miss Judith Louise Gil crisl and Alfred Oulette of Detroit, Mich. The ceremony took place at Kingsley cha pel at Kingsley Air Force base where the bridegroom Is stationed. A reception followed the rites at the social hall adjoin ing the chapel. The bride is a daughter of Mr, and Mrs, Leonard Gilcrist, Klamath Falls. Relatives of the bride at tending the wedding and re ception from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cum mins, Mr. and Mrs. Henley Clawson and. Since the bridegroom's par ents were unable to come west for their son's wedding, the young couple had origi nally planned to make their wedding trip to Detroit, but because of the Cuban situa tion, travel from the base was restricted tor the airmen.
